Updated Temporary Map of Sudan / Southern Sudan

As you may know, the recent changes in Sudan left the world with two countries instead of one: Sudan and Southern Sudan. However the situation with Sudan and South Sudan is far from settled. While South Sudan successfully seceded, the border hasn't been finalized (Abyei is still in dispute) and the Darfur regions is still in flux. Almost every map that we found online showed the Darfur area differently. We chose the most common rendering, knowing that it would be awhile before it was settled. Abyei is shown separate from the rest of South Kordofan because it is "accorded 'special administrative status' by the 2004 Protocol on the resolution of the Abyei conflict (Abyei Protocol) in the Comprehensive Peace Agreement (CPA) that ended the Second Sudanese Civil War. The area is disputed by South Sudan but controlled by the Sudanese government." (source: Wikipedia:http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Abyei)

When the situation settles, we will update all amMap world and related individual maps. Meanwhile we’re releasing the “intermediate” version for immediate use.
