We often get the feeling that our premium map offering for amMap – Premium Map Pack – is awfully misrepresented. Let me correct this and take those wraps of mystery off.
What is it?
Premium Map Pack is a collection of high-quality maps that can be used with amMap engine. It’s not a replacement for amMap. It just replaces some of the maps included with amMap with more detailed versions as well as add whole new maps. The maps have more detailed shorelines, islands, fjords, etc. World maps contain more separate areas – small countries and even tiny island nations – than those available with amMap package.
The Pack is not available for free download. You can purchase it on this page for 150EUR. Purchased maps can be used both with commercial and free version of amMap. It includes maps suitable for use with amMap Flash and amMap Flex component. It also includes uncompiled versions (FLA) of those maps so you can enhance them even further.
